EMC3 is currently looking for:

  • Engineer position, subsea control system leader for Perth, WA. The proposed job requires a 10 year experience on similar position on deep offshore projects. Please find job description below, further details are available upon request.
    • Qualification, Skills and Experience
      • Qualifications & Licenses:Electrical/Electronic Engineering Degree or higher Technician level with relevant experience.
      • Critical Skills and Capabilities: Previous experience in delivering integrated solutions.
      • Key Experiences Requirements: Minimum 10 years’ experience in role.
    • Assignment deliverables
      • Primary Deliverable:
        • Reporting to the Technical Manager,
        • Close-out SPS contract (subsea control system) and technical assistance to Subsea commissioning & start-up team prior First Gas.
      • Key Technical Deliverables:
        • Technical:
          • Onshore assistance as main technical point of contact for any matters related to Subsea control system during installation, pre-commissioning, commissioning and start-up activities on SPS equipment,
          • Participation to project task force as technical support for project punch close-out activities and tooling mobilization for subsea commissioning phase,
          • Review and assistance for Subsea Commissioning TQD close-out exercise,
          • Oversees Contractor in any Root Cause Analysis requested by Subsea Commissioning team (Initial assessment, investigation and rework scope definition and reporting to Subsea Commissioning site leader),
          • Complete presentation/technical note on any technical risks for First Gas related to subsea control system equipment,
          • Oversees and ensures Contractor meets requirements of contracted Scope of Work for last contract deliveries (documentation, testing, shipping and installation).
          • Supervision May deputise for Subsea (SPS) Manager.
        • Commercial:
          • Assists Commercial team as required to ensure Project targets are met.
          • Provides guidance and comment on variation orders.
        • Schedule
          • Assist in development of equipment replacement schedule taking into account Project, Subsea Commissioning and Operation needs.
          • Ensure activities are completed in line with Project schedule.
          • Assists Projects Services team as required to meet reporting requirements.
        • Quality
          • Ensure Company and Industry requirements are implemented.
          • Actively work with QA to ensure Project quality and integrity requirements are met.
        • Cost Reduction Initiatives:
          • Effectively engage in business cost reduction initiatives.

        • Ability to work at levels from senior management to workshop and offshore worksites’ labour, providing leadership in discipline area and to organize and direct Technicians, skilled and semi-skilled labour through Contractor’s management.
